Established by the Adi Shankar as a pilgrimage site- Badrinath attracts a lot of pilgrims- who all nurture the hope of coming closer to their deities? Badrinath Temple, was built by Adi Shankar in the 9th century and since then it has become the most visited town of Badrinath. Badrinath is two- day- long journey from Kedarnath and lies in the vicinity of the Indo- China Border. An interesting fact is that before entering the temple, you have to take a bath in the tapt kund, as the temple is said to be the home of Agni, the Goddess of Fire.
