The region is replete with wonderful buildings adorned with beautiful wall paintings constructed by the Rajputs and Marwari traders. The area has been rightly called an 'Open Air Art Gallery' with mansions, temples, wells, cenotaphs….all covered with frescoes.Shekhawati is dotted with many towns and villages, each with its own wonderful spectacular havelis.
