British Airways History

British Airways Limited was formed in April 1974 with the merger of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA) and its associates. Later these companies dissolved and privatized to form British Airways in 1987.

British Airways possesses a modern fleet with an average age of 9.7 years. Its fleet consists of Boeings 747,737, 757,767 and Airbuses A319, A320 and A321 which are equipped with powerful engines and luxurious interiors for the ultimate experience in flying.
