Rental Cars can also be hired from the different travel agencies, which have set up their offices in the city. You can drive through the city and explore and discover at your own pace or choose a chauffeur driven vehicle.

Unmetered Auto Rickshaws are available as well. Cycle Rickshaws are a great option for traveling short distance. There is no better way to experience the sights and sounds of the city than to travel on a cycle rickshaw. An auto-rickshaw from the train station to the temple would charge about Rs. 40 and the same journey can be covered on a cycle rickshaw, albeit slower for Rs.20. Short jaunts can take you to almost all the places within the city or else one can hire a bicycle to explore the city.
