This arrangement gives additional protection to JetAirways in the event of a Hostile takeover as the company taking over Jet airways won't have the rights to the brand name " JetAirways " which may affect the value of the firm as a whole.

Jet Airways has recently taken over Air Sahara which puts their total share of the Indian Aviation Market above 32 percent and may be even more. Jet Airways flights cater to 6 international destinations and 50 destinations in the Indian Domestic sector. Jet Airways flights add up to 300 or more everyday. This shows the high volume of business in the domestic sector itself. In the coming year with the large number of new aircrafts arriving the volume of Jet Airways flights can only increase further.
