George Ranch Historical Park, Houston
|
One of the places we visited during our recent sojourn to Houston was the George Ranch Historical Park, a 23,000 acre working ranch which was founded in 1824 as part of Stephen F. Austin's Colony by Nancy and Henry Jones. The ranch is the representative of how European settlers established their empire in the new world. Numerous interesting sights met us at the ranch. I am sharing them all with you.
