By Air


The Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Airport at Dum Dum is one of the busiest airports in the country. Several domestic as well as international flights take off and land from this airport. On the international circuit are flights to the US, UK, Singapore and the Middle East.


Metro Rail runs a line to the airport.


By Rail


The two main stations are at Howrah and Sealdah. A large network of trains connects the Howrah station to several cities in India. Trains from Sealdah station connect to various locations within Bengal. Local trains to nearby towns and cities are available from both the stations.


By Road


Board a bus at the Esplanade Bus Station, the city's main bus station for inter-state and intra-state buses. Buses are available to travel to Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri.
