Grandeur of the temples, serenity and calmness of the lakes and scenery adds up to a wonderful vacation

Known best for its beautiful Dilwara Jain Temples, Mount Abu has a lot more to offer to tourists. In my opinion, Mount Abu is a complete rendezvous with nature. This hill station truly has the potential to rejuvenate and refresh the soul.

The journey from Abu Road station to Mount Abu is worthy of a note as well. The journey through the hills takes you on some adventurous twists and turns. Sighting a bear or a rabbit cutting across your path is not uncommon and imagine being accosted by monkeys on the way.

An interesting mix in the topography of Mount Abu is the English-style bunglows interspersed with the holiday homes of the nobles and the rural settings of the tribals. This offers tourists a unique blend and an opportunity to experience everything at this one destination.

Guru Shikhar, the highest point in Mount Abu is a gorgeous site. From the summit, one can see Kargil and into Pakistan. The entire town of Mount Abu seems to be centered around Nakki Lake. The lake is dotted with eateries, shops selling a wide array of things. The Dilwara Temples of course are an experience not to be missed.

Overall, the hill station is brimming with plenty of potential to be explored and enjoyed So hop on and find what Mount Abu has to offer.
