Overall Rating  (70 Reviews)

Shop till you drop with tons of shopping options

On your shopping trips in Mumbai, it is guaranteed that you will splurge. Such is the variety and choice available to shoppers in Mumbai. The city is also one of the largest and the wealthiest consumer markets. Big Boutiques, street fashion, ethnic stores, handicraft emporias and bazaars in Mumbai are just a sampling.

If you are the types looking for a deal while at the same are conscious about keeping a tab on the latest in fashion then head out to the export market at Fashion Street or at Colaba Causeway. Trendy, chic clothes at rock-bottom prices. Remember to bargain. A safe way to start would be to directly halve the price from what the shopkeeper quotes.

Some of the more expensive stores in the city are located in Breach Candy and Kemps Corner. Some of the interesting bazaars in Mumbai are located at Kalbadevi and Bhuleshwar. The bazaar at Kalbadevi is a maze of streets and bylanes which house several smaller markets. The famous ones among them include the Zaveri Market for all gold and jewelery shopping. Dhabu Street is known for its leather goods, Mangaldas Market is the famous indoor cloth and dress materials market and Chor Bazaar where one can hope to find anything from electronics to rare, precious antiques. Mutton Street is where one can find a great bargain on antiques.

Most of the markets open around 10 AM till about 7 in the evening.

Crawford Market is the city's wholesale produce market. Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Meat are all available at this market. There is an imported cheese section and a chocolates section as well in the market.

The big emporiums are located at the World Trade Centre in Cuff Parade. Shows and exhibitions regularly go on at this place. Those are the ideal times to catch a good bargain like the Society Interiors in October and the Food Show in February.

Linking Road in Bandra is a great place to pick up trendy footwear. Rows of small shops sell some good looking shoes at very reasonable prices.
